We had a lactation appointment today and we are weighing in at 9 lbs 12 oz! Can you believe it?

2 week appointment

Piper weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz today. She had to get her foot pricked so they could get blood today and all Hell broke loose! She was still crying when we got to the pharmacy and it was so embarrassing, people couldn't hear their number being called!

Monday she will have her tongue clipped (being tongue tied is a family curse from both sides). I would rather have it done when she's young. I think knowing what they were going to do was more traumatizing.  

Busy

Sorry we haven't had many updates. It's been nonstop around here. The kids are here currently and are a big help around the house. I don't get much sleep at night so I rely on naps.
Piper update:
- birth weight 7 lbs 10 oz, was 7 lbs 5 oz last week... weighed in at 8 lbs 5 oz today!
- two week appt is on Friday
- She has officially outgrown newborn socks! ouch she's growing so fast.
